Max lost his first tooth....thanks to Jack!

I guess I wouldn't have expected Max's first tooth loss to come any other way. This morning, Jackson was chasing Max up the stairs. They were both racing to see who could change their clothes first. (as a side note, if you can't get your boys to do what you ask, put them up against each other in a friendly competition, it works every time) So Max was clearly in the lead and Jackson had to act quickly. He couldn't let a kid 2 years his Jr. beat him this time. Jack decided to push Max up the stairs. Does that even make sense?? Anyways, Jack pushes him, Max face plants, and wha-la, Max lost his first tooth! Max is one tough kid, there was no crying involved, he just walked into my room with tissue in his mouth saying that Jack made him bleed. He's totally excited about the prospect of the tooth fairy visiting, the tooth is already under his pillow just waiting to be snatched from the Fairy herself.

Did I mention that we couldn't find the tooth and thought he might have swallowed it? Max insisted on taking the pic to document where the tooth went. We did find it later on the stairs!

Ouch!! How am I not surprised?! Somehow it will not shock me if one of my boys loses a tooth in this manner. Natural Selection did remove a decent tooth. Top front would've been a little more painful and aroused more attention. Little Bri only wacked his front tooth so it was dark for years, that is far from ideal...

Atleasst the story is properly documented! :)

Bri once swallowed a tooth while eating lunch. He was very concerned because he wouldn't be able to put the tooth under his pillow.

The Tooth Fairy was good enough to leave $$$ on top of the toilet for him.

Pushing up the stairs is a classic way to throw your opponents balance off. It almost always results in a crash, since you need to lean to go fast up any hill... the sudden change in physics makes it hard for anyone to maintain speed without losing altitude. To take this to the next level, try this tactic going up metal or stone stairs... for added fun have a camera waiting to catch the bloody mess for later viewing enjoyment.

P.S. I have an older brother and learned this lesson first hand. Still have the scare to prove it.

P.S.S. Shortly after said lesson was complete... I stopped my competitiveness running up stairs with my good ole bro!

Love it! Swallowing the tooth is the best. Too bad it didn't happen otherwise you might be looking for it else where:)

Your life is always exciting, Jamie! We're still waiting for Trevor and Ian to lose their first teeth, but I will not recommend Max's method to them. That little girl is going to have to be tough to keep up with those boys!
